Police in Westbrook say a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle that was being driven by her husband.

Police responded to Bond Street just before 10 a.m. Tuesday. They said Sue Randall had been killed by the truck being driven by Jeffery Randall of Buxton.

Neighbors told CBS 13 news the death was a tragic mistake, and it happened when Jeffery Randall put his truck in the wrong gear while in the driveway.

Police say they’re still investigating.
