Police Say Infant Death in Rumford is Not Suspicious

RUMFORD, Maine (WGAN) Police investigating the death of an infant in Rumford on Thursday say the death is not being considered suspicious.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 news, police responded to a home on Rumford Avenue around 7pm Thursday to find the child unresponsive.

The death is being investigated by State Police, which is standard for the death of any child under the age of 3.
