Police search for driver involved in Portland hit-and-run

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Police say they’re looking for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run in Portland that left a pedestrian seriously injured.

According to CBS 13 news, police say it happened Tuesday morning around 11:20 at the intersection of Bedford and Forest Avenue where the pedestrian was using a crosswalk.

The pedestrian is expected to be okay, but was seriously hurt.

Police haven’t released a description of the vehicle or any other information about the incident.
