Police search for man who they say offered child in Falmouth a ride

FALMOUTH, Maine (WGAN) Police are looking for a man who they say offered a ride to a child in Falmouth after the child got off a school bus.

Police say a man in his 30s in a white SUV pulled up alongside the young student and offered them a ride.

CBS 13 reports that it happened after the child got off the bus on Gray Rd. near Hurricane and Shaw Roads.

Police say the child declined, and the driver left and drove toward Cumberland.

The Falmouth Police Dept. is investigating, and they’re asking anyone who may have information on the incident to call them.

No other information has been released.
