Missing Greene woman found safe

UPDATE: Police say Myrand has been found safe. 

Maine State Police are asking for the public’s help finding a woman from Greene who hasn’t been seen since New Year’s Day.

Police say 38-year-old Jennifer Myrand was last seen at her mother’s house in Belgrade on Jan. 1st at 7 a.m.

They believe she left the home at some point between then and 9:30 that night. She hasn’t been heard from since that day.

She’s known to frequent the Greene and Androscoggin County areas.

She’s white, 5’5″, weighing 135 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
