Police searching for Maine man wanted for violent crimes

Police in Knox County are searching for a wanted man who they believe is armed.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday they were searching for 31-year-old Justin Richards of Cushing. He’s wanted for several violent crimes targeting specific people. Police say he stated that he would engage in a violent confrontation with law enforcement.

His last known location was the Warren area, where he was seen driving a white 2005 GMC Envoy with Maine lobster registration 234BEG.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
