Police Suspect Black Ice in Car, Taxi Crash That Killed 3

WESTBROOK, Maine (WGAN) Three people are killed and one is injured after a crash in Westbrook.

The crash took place around 7:15 a.m. on County Road by the border of Scarborough and Westbrook. Police identified the victims as 39-year-old Hassan Idris Ali, who was driving the taxi, and his passengers 50-year-old Gregory Harriman and 33-year-old Joshua Stone.

60-year-old Lisa Libby was identifed as the driver of the other vehicle. She’s being treated at Maine Medical Center.

Police say the road was icy Monday morning, which likely caused the crash.
