PopUp Bagels Coming to Portland

From PopUp Bagels

Portland Old Port reports a new bagel shop, PopUp Bagels, is opening in the Zero Canal Plaza at 210 Middle Street. The popular New England bagel store signed a 10- year lease in the building that was previously occupied by Nosh Taco.

PopUp Bagels originated in Connecticut, and according to their website, their “goal is simple: to make you the best, freshest bagels. No frills, plainly perfect: crispy crust and soft crumb center, just the right size and with a perfect proportion of seeds.”

Alongside Connecticut locations, PopUp Bagels also has locations in Massachusetts and New York. The new location in Portland is a part of the redevelopment of the Old Port Square and is expected to open in the fall.
