Portland issues parking ban, postpones trash pickup due to April snow storm

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Portland officials have declared a citywide parking ban that begins Wednesday at 10 p.m.

A Wednesday morning news release from the city said the parking ban was scheduled to expire Thursday at 6 a.m.

Vehicles left on city streets can be towed at the owner’s expense.

Portland has also postponed Thursday’s trash and recycling pick up until Saturday.
