Portland police identify victim in fatal crash involving motorcycle

Portland police say a man was killed when a vehicle collided with his motorcycle.

Police said 27-year-old Dakota Matthews of Biddeford was driving his motorcycle on Auburn Street on Tuesday, September 8th. He was struck by a vehicle being driven by 68-year-old Jack Chellis of Falmouth.

Matthews was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Portland police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have any information about it to give them a call.
