Portland police investigate stabbing in city’s Munjoy Hill neighborhood

A Portland man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed Wednesday night.

Portland police say the 56-year-old man was found with an apparent stab wound around 11:30 on Munjoy South Street.

He’s being treated at Maine Medical Center, where he’s listed in critical condition.

Police don’t believe there’s a threat to the public. There’s been no word of any arrests or suspects.
