Portland Police Find Missing Person

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Portland Police say a missing person who was separated from his friends Wednesday night has been found.

Police Lieutenant Robert Martin said 32-year-old Douglas Putnam stepped out of a vehicle being driven by a friend around 9:40pm on Walker St. near Brackett St., and when it returned to pick him up, he was missing. Putnam, who was intoxicated, was then seen just after 10:30pm at Lazzari, a restaurant on Congress St., and police believe he left there by himself.

Late Thursday afternoon, police said Putnam had been located.  No other details were released.
