Portland Police Search for Suspect in Hit-and-Run

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Portland police are searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run on Congress Street.

Police say 29-year-old Phillip White was seriously injured after getting hit by an unidentified vehicle near 1565 Congress Street around 7:30 Sunday night. He was taken to the hospital to be treated.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to give them a call.
