6-year-old reported missing in Portland found safe

UPDATE: Portland Police say Ahmed has been found safe.

Police in Portland are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 6-year-old boy.

Hamza Ahmed was last seen near the railroad tracks on Walton Street by Canco Road wearing a tie-dye t-shirt with the words “Ocean Avenue” on it. He’s about four feet tall.

Police say the boy may be hiding in the woods or garages.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Portland Police Department.
