Portland Restaurant to Relocate with New Name After 37 Years

Saint Patrick’s Day will be the last day for Samuel’s Bar & Grill in Morrell’s Corner after 37 years on Forest Avenue in Portland.

The owner’s will carry their same menu to a new location on Washington Street, where they’ll open sometime in the future as North Deering Tavern.

The new restaurant will be located in the space previously occupied by Parker’s Restaurant.

The owner’s said “Thank you all for the last 37 years in Morrill’s Corner….it’s been a trip,” in a social media post.
