Protester accused of threatening motorcyclist in Portland arrested

Portland police say a protester accused of threatening a man on a motorcycle with a gun was arrested on Monday.

Officers responded to Middle Street just after 7 p.m. Monday. They received a report that a 50-year-old South Portland man was surrounded by a group of about ten people. He told police one person in that group displayed a handgun that was concealed under his shirt. That person then allegedly made threatening comments before walking away with the rest of the group.

That protester was identified as 33-year-old Rocco Wong, who was later arrested.

Wong was brought to Cumberland County Jail where he posted $250 bail and was released.
