A new poll shows Democratic House Speaker Sara Gideon in a close race for Republican Senator Susan’s Collins’ seat.

The poll released Thursday by Public Policy Polling shows Gideon leading Collins, with 47% of the vote in a hypothetical match-up. Collins had 43% of the vote, with 10% left undecided.

That’s a shift since a poll from back in June, which showed Collins leading by 16 points, according to the Bangor Daily News.

Collins, often considered a moderate in the Senate, faced criticism for voting to acquit President Trump in the impeachment trial earlier this year. She also faced backlash following her vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
