Police in Saco responded to reports of shots fired Friday morning.

Officers were dispatched at about 7:30 a.m. to Hutchins St. near the Thornton Academy campus.

Police determined that a dispute between neighbors led to gun shots being fired.

Police took 62-year-old Eugene D’Alessandro Jr. of Saco into custody without further incident.

D’Alessandro was charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and is set to appear in court in November.
