Route 113 Gets Closed After Dump Truck Rolls Over


BALDWIN, Maine (WGAN)  One person was injured after a dump trucked rolled over in Baldwin Thursday.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says just before 1 p.m., a dump truck owned by Thyng Paving LLC was driving on Pequaket Trail when it went into the travel lane on the right hand side.  The driver tried to correct the truck and it rolled.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police say the driver, 42-year-old Richard Valliere, was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the truck was hauling crushed stone, which was spread across the roadway.  Route 113 was closed for about 1.5 hours.

Police say no charges are expected to be filed.
