Republicans, who hold a minority in the Maine House and Senate, selected Kathleen Dillingham to serve as House Minority Leader last week.

Democrat Senator Nate Libby will continue serving as Senate Majority Leader. Democrat Troy Jackson is also likely to stay on as Senate President once that’s finalized in an official vote next month, according to the Portland Press Herald.

Republican Jeff Timberlake was chosen by his party to serve as Senate Minority leader.
