A 32-year-old man remains in jail after his arrest stemming from a deadly accident on Country Club Rd. in Sanford.

According to a Monday press release from the Sanford Police Dept., Cody Michaud of Sanford was arrested on Nov. 18.

His arrest is connected to a crash on Aug. 21, 2022, that claimed the life of Ann Sinclair, 32.

The suspect was charged with operating under the influence involving death, manslaughter and violating bail conditions.

On Monday, he remained in the York County Jail without bail.

A joint investigation involving the Sanford Police Dept.’s criminal investigations and patrol divisions, as well as the Maine Warden Service and a reconstructionist from the York Police Dept., led to a warrant for Michaud’s arrest.

The release said Michaud was taken into custody without incident.
