More than 300 people are back to their normal schedules after dressing up as Santa Claus and skiing down the mountain at Sunday River for the ski resort’s 24th annual Santa Sunday.

Registered Santa skiers raised $9,000 for the River Fund, which is a non-profit organization that supports youth education and recreation in the Bethel area.

Participants were required to wear all of the following items: a red Santa hat with white pompom, a red Santa jacket, red Santa pants, a Santa beard.

There was a scheduled photoshoot at 11am, according to the resort for the skiers dressed in Santa attire. After the photo shoot, they all went up the South Ridge Express lift and then skied down the beginner-friendly Broadway green trail.
