Sea Dogs Win Home Opener at Hadlock Field

The Sea Dogs took down Tim Tebow and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in the home opener Friday night. The final score was 4-2.

The Portland Press Herald reports pitcher Drew Pomeranz threw four strikeouts in the win for Portland. Pomeranz also allowed two runs, three walks and four hits in five-and-a-third innings. Former Florida Gators star quarterback Tim Tebow went one-for-four in the loss for Binghamton.

The Sea Dogs play the Rumble Ponies again Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hadlock Field.
