Semi Mangled in Maine Turnpike Crash, Traffic Delayed

A truck driver has minor injuries after his tractor-trailer carrying food products crashed on the Maine Turnpike near Wells this morning.

The crash happened around 4:20 a.m. on the turnpike southbound between Kennebunk and Wells.

Kennebunk Fire-Rescue say their crews worked to mitigate fuel and oil spillage.

The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There were traffic delays while the crash blocked the breakdown lane and one lane of traffic.
