Several Children Injured in School Bus Crash in Minot

A number of students have injuries after a school bus in Minot crashed just after 8:00 am Tueasday.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office reports the bus went off the road and into a ditch about a half mile from Minot Consolidated School.

The school district says ambulance and rescue crews – United Ambulance and Minot Fire and Rescue – were on the scene immediately to assist several children, who were injured.

The district says families were contacted directly and school staff were present to offer support as students taken safely back to school.

United Ambulance is continuing to monitor the children at school, ensuring that all children receive the care and attention they need.
