Sheriff’s Office Finds Body Believed to be Missing Woman


BALDWIN, Maine (WGAN)  The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says a body has been found believed to be a missing Baldwin woman.

Wednesday, the sheriff’s office asked for the public’s help finding 59-year-old Lawrene Alexander, who they say was last heard from around Dec. 20.

This afternoon, police say a body was found and the body is believed to be Alexander.  Police have not said where the body was found or released any further information.
