Shots fired at Lewiston apartment building, police search for suspect

Lewiston police are investigating after multiple gunshots were fired into an apartment on Pine St. early Sunday morning.

Police say many shots were fired from outside the building, where numerous shell casings were found.

Police say the suspect may have left the scene in a vehicle, and this does not appear to be a random shooting.

They beleve a specific apartment was targeted by the shooter.

Police are asking people who live in the area to give them a call if they saw something.
