Silver Alert cancelled after Bowdoin man with dementia found safe


UPDATE: Police say George Hillman has been found safe.

Police in Sagadahoc County have issued a Silver Alert for a missing man with dementia.

Police say 75-year-old George Hillman was last seen at his home on Meadow Road in Bowdoin around 11:30 Tuesday morning. He had gone for a walk but hasn’t been seen since.

Hillman is white, 5’9″, 140 pounds with brown eyes, white hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, brown sneakers, and a racing t-shirt. Police say he doesn’t have a cell phone on him.
