Bangor man who went missing from group home found safe


UPDATE: Police say Lausier has been found safe.

Police in Bangor are asking for the public’s help finding a man who left his group home.

Police say 31-year-old Alexander Lausier, who sometimes goes by Guy Pearce, walked away from his home on Center Street in Bangor around 4 a.m. Wednesday. Lausier is a white male, 5’8″ weighing between 160 and 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a soul patch with possible 5 ‘o clock shadow. He also has tattoos on his arms.

He was last seen wearing a camo jacket with black and red plaid jacket underneath, as well as dark gray sweatpants.

Police say he has mental health issues, including schizophrenia.

They believe he didn’t leave in a vehicle.
