Missing Readfield woman found safe

UPDATE 3/8/24: Police say Folsom has been found safe. 

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing woman from Readfield.

The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office issued the alert Thursday afternoon for 76-year-old Sonia Folsom. She was last seen around 10 a.m. Thursday in Falmouth. Her family is concerned that she hasn’t returned home.

Folsom is a white female, 5′ 1″, weighing 149 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. She suffers from cognitive issues.

Folsom is driving a red Hyundai Santa Fe with Maine registration 6802VW.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.
