A Waterville man faces drug trafficking charges after police say they found cocaine and fentanyl during a traffic stop in Skowhegan.

Police say they stopped a car driven by Travis Clark on West Front Street Saturday. They say their investigation led to a K-9 being used to sniff out drugs in the car.

Officers say a search of the car uncovered 2.15 grams of cocaine, .11 grams of fentanyl, and a 45-caliber handgun.

Clark was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled W drugs.

He was taken to the Somerset County Jail where his bail was set at $20,000.
