Small, unoccupied plane flipped upside down by wind gust at Portland Jetport


PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) A small, unoccupied plane was flipped upside down by a gust of wind at the Portland Jetport Tuesday.

The Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting unit, which is stationed at the jetport, responded to the incident at about 3 p.m.

The incident involved a single-engine Cessna 172.

Fire crews also say that a small fuel leak had to be cleaned up.
