AccuWeather Meteorologist Heather joined  WGAN Morning News to discuss the upcoming weekend’s weather, highlighting a complex storm pattern that will bring cold air and potential snow.

she says “A clipper system will pass south of the region, while another storm system in Canada may influence it” Snow showers are expected, with minimal accumulation and slippery conditions. Significant snowfall is predicted for New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts. Temperatures will plummet, with single-digit lows expected by Sunday night. Another potential snow opportunity is on Tuesday.

The weather pattern will continue to fluctuate between cold and mild spells, with no settled winter conditions imminent.  So what does the extended forecast look like?

AccuWeather Meteorologist Heather tells us “From what I understand from our long range team, which of course, includes our favorite, Joe Lundberg, it looks like we’re going to kind of continue this pendulum swing, because it does look like it gets fairly mild again for the later part of next week, and I do think there is a chance the next weekend, so you know, a week to 10 days from now that we could have a very warm spell”
