SCARBOROUGH (WGME) — As schools unveil their tentative plans for the upcoming year, everyone involved needs to be prepared for changes.

With school just around the corner, there are a lot of questions about what it will look like this year. Scarborough schools are in the final countdown, with school starting in just over a month, and there’s a lot to consider, starting with student health.

Scarborough schools recently drafted a reopening plan which gives families options, from working remotely, attending school in person two days a week or going to school each day.

ray Superintendent Craig King says even though some families will choose to attend school in person as in the past, there’s going to be a new way of thinking, and new rules to follow.

The Scarborough school superintendent says that students and parents will be able to decide what’s best for their student as the school year approaches.
