South Portland Man Charged with Dealing Drugs, Stealing Gun

SOUTH PORTLAND (WGME)- after the Maine DEA said he was part of a group that was selling fentanyl and crack cocaine throughout southern Maine, agents arrested 21-year-old Moses Oreste on Monday and charged him with unlawful trafficking in schedule drugs, aggravated trafficking in schedule drugs, and theft by receiving. CBS 13 reports that police say they arrested Oreste after he sold crack cocaine to an undercover agent. agents say they found 23 grams of crack cocaine and seven grams of fentanyl on Oreste, a resident of the Olde English Village apartment complex in South Portland. in addition to those drugs, more were found in his apartment, along with a handgun that was reported stolen in 2017. He is being held on bail at the Cumberland County Jail on $60,000 bail.
