A South Portland man is accused of robbing a home before leading police on a chase overnight Friday morning.

Police say Michael Duggan, 37, trespassed on two properties, including one where Duggan robbed a home and displayed a firearm.

Duggan fled the scene and then allegedly led police on a pursuit when they spotted his vehicle.

He continued on to the Casco Bay Bridge until damage from an earlier crash disabled his vehicle.

He was arrested and faces several charges including robbery, assault and eluding an officer.
