South Portland Woman Arrested After Crash

South Portland (WGAN)- South Portland police say a woman was driving while drunk when she smashed into a house, then fled the scene last night.

She’s been identified as 31 year old Veronica Brown.

Police say she took off on foot after the crash on Evans Street.

She also hit two other vehicles and a fence. Police caught up her a short time later.

Charges include oui, driving after suspension , and leaving the scene of an accident.
