Standoff in Brownfield ends with man’s arrest

BROWNFIELD, Maine (WGAN)  A man is in custody after a standoff overnight in Brownfield.

Our info partners at CBS 13 news report 62-year-old Charles King surrendered after an 8-hour standoff Wednesday morning.

He is being charged with several crimes, including reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and terrorizing.

Police said this morning the incident began after an argument between neighbors and a gun was pulled.

King is being taken to Oxford County Jail.
