Steep uptick in coronavirus cases, 35 new, no deaths Saturday

The Maine CDC reporting 35 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday, but no new deaths leaving the death toll at 134.

In Maine, there are now 4,667 coronavirus cases, with 4,197 of those being confirmed, while 470 are probable.

Recoveries topped 4,000 this week, and as of Saturday reached 4,037 in Maine.

The number of Mainers hospitalized is 424 people.

Cumberland County continues to be the largest producer of positive cases at 2,216, and York County following with 884.
