A stolen skiff has been returned to its owner after it was taken from Lincolnville Harbor in Lincolnville July 23.

Maine State Police say they arrested 43-year-old Jason Randall of Rockland, who confessed to stealing the skiff and selling it to a third party.

Police say they were assisted by tips from the public in tracking down Randall and the skiff. They also thanked the Maine Marine patrol and the Rockland Police Department in a Facebook post for assisting them.

The skiff was given back to the owner with almost all of its parts.
