A section of Congress Street in Portland was shut down Tuesday morning while firefighters responded to a small stove fire.

The Portland Fire Department said crews responded to the all-hands fire on the fourth floor of the Burnham Arms apartment building.

A spokesperson told the Press Herald one person was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

Congress Street was shut down for a brief period and reopened just before noon.
