Structure fire in Westbrook displaces 10

Ten people were displaced by a fire in Westbrook on Monday.

Part of Route 302 was shut down while crews battled a fire at a single-story dwelling, but the road had reopened around 2:30 p.m.

There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it’s believed to have started in the basement.
