Suicidal Person Taken Into Custody After Setting Apartment on Fire

PORTLAND (WGAN)- A suicidal person was taken into custody this afternoon after setting their apartment on fire. Our news partners at CBS 13 report that firefighters responded to a fire around noon at 26 Greenleaf street in Portland just off of Washington ave in the bayside community. There was little visible fire damage, and police blocked off the property with crime scene tape. The person was taken to the hospital to get treated for smoke exposure.
