Suspect sought after another Portland bank robbery


Police are seeking a suspect after the second bank robbery in Portland in less than a week.

The Kennebec Savings Bank on Baxter Boulevard was robbed around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The suspect, who did not display a weapon, fled towards Baxter Boulevard and the Pedro Little League Field with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is a white male with brown hair, gray hooded sweatshirt, navy blue jeans, blue latex gloves, blue Carhart baseball hat and light brown boots, wearing a blue neck gaiter and sunglasses.

Police say they’re not commenting at this time on the potential connection with a robbery at the Bangor Savings Bank on Brighton Avenue that happened on Saturday.
