Suspect wanted in domestic violence incident arrested in Waterville after standoff

A domestic violence suspect was taken into custody after police say he caused a standoff in Waterville overnight Monday morning.

Police were called to a report of a domestic dispute at a home on Main St., where they say 49-year-old Christopher Bryant of Fairfield refused to come out.

Bryant left the home later in the morning and was taken into custody.

He was taken to Kennebec County Jail with bail set at $200.
