A 19-year-old died in a motorcycle crash in Lebanon on Wednesday night, police say.

In a news release Thursday morning, state police said the bike operated by Nathan Parker of Lebanon collided around 7:30 p.m. with a car in the area of the 100 block of Champion Street.

Police said Parker was driving at a high rate of speed northbound on Champion Street.

As he came around a corner, he was in the opposite lane and his motorcycle collided with a Chevy Impala, the release said.

Parker did not survive the crash.

The female operator of the Impala, as well as children who were inside the vehicle, were not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
