Three Seriously Injured in Weekend Raymond Crash

Image of Raymond crash from Cumberland County Sheriff's Office

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a crash Saturday morning in Raymond that sent three people to a hospital.

Deputies say a 2022 Subaru driven by 61-year-old Brian Farm of South Portland pulled into the westbound breakdown lane of Roosevelt Trail after missing a turn.

They say he abruptly made an improper U-turn directly into the path of a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 19-year-old Jordan Blanton of Bridgton.

Blanton and two adult passengers in the Equinox were taken to a hospital for what deputies say were serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers say neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash.

The crash took place at 7:05 a.m. on Roosevelt Trail in Raymond between Raymond Beach and Deep Cove Shore Road.
