Three people are safe after their snowmobiles went into the water at the mouth of Moose River on Friday.

Rockwood Fire and Rescue say they were called in at around 2:30 p.m. and found two people in the water with one missing.

The agency says they rescued the two men, and the third person was located safe later on.

Rescuers say are reminding snowmobilers to stay on marked trails if you aren’t familiar with the lake.

Rockwood Fire and Rescue thanked C.A Dean, border patrol crews, and many others for the help.
