Tractor-trailer rolls over in Jay, driver injured

JAY, Maine (WGAN) The driver of a tractor-trailer is injured after the vehicle rolled on to it’s side in Jay on Monday morning.

According to the Sun Journal, police arrived on scene at the beginning of the Jay POW/MIA Remembrance Bridge on Riley Road around 7:40 a.m. Firefighters helped the driver out of the vehicle. The truck had spilled the sawdust it was hauling down an embankment.

Police closed that section of the road while they responded to the crash.

The driver was treated in an ambulance. No word on his current condition, or what caused the crash.
