Traffic stop in Old Orchard Beach leads to drug bust

Police seized drugs after pulling over a suspected drunk driver in Old Orchard Beach.

The vehicle being driven by 48-year-old Nelson Gomes of Old Orchard Beach was stopped Friday night.

Police say they searched the vehicle and found cocaine, methamphetamine pills and cash.

Gomes was taken to York County Jail on $35,000 bail and charged with drug trafficking, OUI, operating without a license and endangering the welfare of a child.
